Welcome to the 2024-2025 Season!
The NSBA would like to extend an invitation for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. We are looking for pool players of all skill levels. Male and female alike are welcome.
The Executive Board would like to welcome back all players who have enjoyed playing in the past. The NSBA offers FRIENDLY COMPETITION in the game of Eight Ball. We are the North Shore's largest Eight Ball League. This year will be our 38th season. The number of teams the NSBA is set up to handle is from 20 - 40. Schedules are set up accordingly. If the number of teams ends up being an odd number the Executive Board will make adjustments to the schedule as needed.
Teams are composed of no less than 6 and no more than 7 team members. One eligible player will be designated as the Team Captain. All players must be at least 21 years of age. Each team captain is responsible for collecting/turning in dues and picking up/ dropping off score sheets each week. Also, the team captain will be responsible to keep his/her team informed about any pertinent information that is either passed out or discussed at Captain's meetings. Team captains must also designate an alternate person from their team as co-captain and that person will be responsible for all captain's duties in the event the Team Captain is not available. Each team must have a sponsor that will incur a nonrefundable sponsor fee in the amount of $200.00. Each team will also post a team bond of $150.00. A team players fee of $175.00 is the responsibility of the team members. The Sponsor Fee, Team Bond and Players fee are due at registration. Each week of play each team will submit weekly dues of $75.00 along with their score sheets.
The season is usually 28 – 40 weeks long with a two week mid-season break over the Winter Holiday Season. Also there is no play on Super Bowl Sunday and Easter Sunday.
The Season length will be determined by the number of teams registered. Matches are played on Sunday and begin promptly at 5:00 P.M. This year play begins on Sunday, September 8th, 2024.
Payouts and awards are also determined by the number of teams registered. ROSTER SHEET AND BOND SHEET MUST BE LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE.
SPONSOR FEE, TEAM BOND AND PLAYER'S FEE ARE DUE IN FULL AT REGISTRATION.
Registration will be held at the ICC (downstairs), 300 Rantoul Street, Beverly, MA on Sunday, August 4th, 2024. Registration will be from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. anyone interested in putting a team in and cannot make the registration can reach out to a board member before registration and make arrangements to meet them at another time. These dates must be met to provide sufficient time for scheduling, league paperwork, seasonal calendar and statistics alignment.

All monies are due with this paperwork. Checks should be made out to the NSBA. If possible one check in the amount of $525.00 will make the process easier, but three checks are acceptable. Remember - YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL ALL FEES ARE RECEIVED.
